3D Animation in Teaching and Learning (Target audience: PF 3411)

Welcome to PF 3411
The aim of this course is to introduce 3D animation interactive courseware design. The student will be exposed to methods of creating and producing 3D animation by incorporating the elements of virtual reality inside their creation. They will design a storyboard, task analyze and produce a programme on a particular topic in a subject for secondary and primary school.
The objective of this blog is to promote critical and analytical thinking among the student on anything related to this course objective. You can use this blog as a platform to communicate and contribute your ideas mainly on theoritical aspect of implementing 3D movie, simulation and VR object in teaching and learning. You can also discuss about tips and tricks of using Cinema 4D such as your best solution in modelling, applying material, rigging techniques, lighting techniques etc. (provide step by step guide)

Salam, & hello. I am Najah,the 2nd year student. i'm taking B.Sc education major in maths and minor in chemistry. the reason why i'm taking this course is to learn on how to make animation because for me it will be useful one day for my teaching practice. so it is an advantage =)Right. at the same time it is more reliable nowadays to use this method to teach student since it is really interesting and can attract student's attention. really hope everyting is going well =)

Hi and assalamualaikum, Its a good start. Hope we can have more serious discussion on anything that is related to this course; theoritically, practically. Gelb(1998:5) stated that our brain can learn seven facts per second, every second, for the rest of your life and still have plenty of room left to learn more". I suggest we start with instructional problem and how can 3d animation help us to solve those problems

i am taking B.A Programme (major in geography and minor in mathematics). i am not sure if this course can help me with the program that i am taking but i am taking 3d animation because i just want to know how creative i am. i also want to improve my confidence in my presentation and working as a group.

I am glad that the proposal presentation is finally over. And thank you with all of the comments so that we can improve later. We know that we need to improve alot especially about the characters, we also need to add varies characters. We will make alot of bees and varies kind of flowers. The contents of the course is very interesting which is the usage of 3D animation to be applied in teaching and can also serve a purpose as to help the appropriate students in the area of learning.
The use of Cinema 4D are very challenging to me but with the help and guidance of teachers as well as members in our group help in understanding its function.
It is basically helpful to understand the functions of Cinema 4D by working upon the learning modules as well as notes given from the teachers as a manual for easy learning.

The final presentation showed the final product of our group's hardwork with the compliments given to my group members, fuad, yamin, khairul and hanafi as well as myself > the hyrologist.
